Sport junkie who will never settle on former playing career as the standard for coaching committed athletes; sports evolve and I keep pace. I take pride in my resilient preparation giving athletes the development and coaching they deserve.

I continuously grow through research, workshops, and mentorships from highly respected coaches, physical therapist and doctors. I also practice what I preach and watch a significant amount of film; no stone goes unturned.

Without question athletes will elevate their confidence and skill, but that’s not the whole shebang. Film study is a must in performance development. Players need to learn the game. One similarity amongst the greatest players is high IQ. Jordan, Kobe, Tom Brady, Jerry Rice – all students of the game.

Sports have been my life since day one, competing in organized football, basketball and baseball. I also had a high volume of exposure to all sports through pick-up games.

As previously stated, I am a student of sport. I am obsessed with developing my game and athleticism through research, film study and practice, which has paid huge dividends in my ability to help all athletes reach their full potential.

The essence of weight lifting for improved athleticism has, unfortunately, been abused. Athletes lift weights to achieve big weight room numbers without the context of how the body is designed for natural movement. For example, when an athlete is squatting heavy weight, their body must tighten and stiffen to overcome the resistance. With time, the body loses it flexibility as it adapts to this resistance. This is not to say we don’t lift heavy because we do; however, we lift with the assurance of foot, joint and muscle movement in proper sequence and coordination. Fluid 400lb squats are preferred over stiff 500lb squats. Fluid squats make a better athlete; stiff squats make the athlete good at lifting weights.

We train to move well and be powerfully. Athletes will continuously be assessed throughout their training journey. These assessments aid in injury prevention and help form a program that will address athlete’s needs.

General session template:
Warm up: 5-10 min:
- variations of skips, gallops and jumps
- Athletic movements specific to athlete’s sport
- Drills to create stable, but flexible foot
- A foot is comprised of 26 bones, 33 joints & 100+ muscles, tendons and ligaments (big deal)

Sprints: 5-10 min
- Full speed, timed sprints
- Develop maximum velocity and acceleration
- Sprint drills for improvement mechanics

Plyometrics: 5 -10 min
- Various jump drills emphasizing height and quick ground contact
- Develop jump technique with various take offs (single leg, double leg)

Strength Training: 30-40 min
- Exercises tailored towards athlete’s needs & sport demand

Recovery: 5-10 min
- Improved breathing, flexibility and body awareness

Coach Kyle was a great instructor. He was very helpful in pointing out the technique my daughter had been using with her shots and gave feedback on ways to improve.

Coach Kyle is doing great work with my friends son. Kyles knowledge of training and basketball has changed Danny approach to basketball as he was self taught. Kyle drives Danny tremendously and keeps him focused totally for each session and Danny comes away from each session with a better attitude and knowledge.
