More About Coach Kyle

Hello, my name is Kyle Perez. I am a former high school and college football athlete. I have been around the sport since the age of 4. I played 4 years of high school football where I was a 4 year starter for one of the top high schools in the nation, American Heritage Plantation. I then went on to play 4 years at Florida International University where my football career came to an end after my senior year. After graduating I pursued a career in training young athletes and I am currently interning at a sports performance gym called Per4orm. I have worked with kids ages 10-18 and have the experience and knowledge to improve your kids strength, conditioning, and football techniques to excel at the top level.

In high school I was a 4 year starter at American Heritage Plantation playing along athletes such as Sony Michel and Isaiah McKenzie. Our 2014 team went on to win a state championship and played a key role on that team. I then played at FIU in Miami, where I was a walk-on and earned my way on the team and eventually earned a scholarship my 3rd year at the school. I would then want my way into the starting lineup my senior year at FIU.

My sessions will typically run an hour long where we will always begin with a dynamic warmup to avoid any injury. I will split up weekly plans to consist of strength days and conditioning days. Strength days will primarily be in the weight room where we will either do a lower or upper body session focusing on key muscle groups to improve the athletes strength and focus on their weaker muscles in order to avoid injury on the field. Conditioning days will focus on the athletes endurance and get them in the best shape to perform their best. Conditioning days will also consist of some football drills specifically real life football drills according to their respective position.
