K.J. Gerard

I have experience coaching kids in middle school, high school, and college level. I have worked with kids that play flag football and full contact. I typically work with DB's and WR's in High School and Junior High. I put a strong emphasis on the fundaments, identifying and eliminating bad habits.

I started my football career attending Fountain Valley High School. I earned a scholarship to play DB for D-1 FCS Northern Arizona University. 4 year starter, 4 year captain, 4 time all Big Sky Honors, 2 time FCS 1st Team All-American. In 2009 signed as an undrafted free-agent to Baltimore Ravens, 2010 signed with Chicago Bears, and 2011 Signed with Miami Dolphins.

A typical session with me will begin with warming up/stretching, ball drills, EDD (every day drills/footwork). Then a number of different drills designed to perfect the clients technique. The main goal of my training is not to run the client into the ground, but to improve their football IQ. Allow them to make plays by relying on great technique and playing smarter not harder. As a player who was always undersized and had average speed. I emphasize the importance of playing "smart football."
