More About Coach Keon

I’m currently the Head Football Strength and Conditioning Coach at Huguenot High School. Prior to relocating to Richmond, I was the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Proehlific Park working under Ricky Proehl, who played 17 seasons in the NFL, two-time Super Bowl Champions, and 6 years as a Carolina Panthers Wide Reciever Coach. While I was working at Proehlific Park, I also became the assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Carolina Cobra (National Arena League) I’m also a football combine specialist and All-American bowl coach for Blue-Grey Football. So over the past 5 years, I have endure a lot of experience working with kids all the way up to working with professional athletes for football and baseball. I am USA weightlifting certified coach and currently in grad school school at Concordia University Chicago to get my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification.

In High School, I played at J. F. Webb High School in Oxford, NC. I played all 4 years at the Linebacker position on Varsity. I was a two-time First team all-conference, two-time all-area, and Carolina 6 3A Defensive Player of the year as a senior. I then, went on to receive a full scholarship to play college football at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Kentucky. I played 3 years of college football and graduated with my degree in Exercise Science & Sport Studies.

My strength and conditioning program is based off a 4th quarter program. Client expect to lift heavy three time out of the week and conditioning four time out of the week. My ultimate goals for my client is to get them ready to compete at their highest level as possible. There will be a lot of weightlifting and Olympic variation of movement (Power Clean, Hang Clean, Clean and Jerk, Snatch) During our Conditioning training, client will learn Acceleration, Change of Direction, Top, Speed, and Plyometric Power movement to create an all around athlete across the board. My training philosophy is to get athletes bigger, stronger, faster in a safety manner.
