A quarterback training session should focus on improving various skills such as throwing mechanics, footwork, decision-making, and leadership. Here's a comprehensive plan that can be adjusted based on the quarterback's experience level and the session's
objectives:
**Dynamic Stretching:** Focus on the arms, shoulders, neck, back, and legs to prepare the body for vigorous activity**
**Jogging and Agility Drills:** Light jogging around the field followed by agility ladder drills to enhance footwork and coordination
Throwing Mechanics (20 minutes) - **Grip and Stance:** Review and practice the proper way to grip the football and the stance before a throw.
**Short Throws:** Start with short, quick throws to a partner or coach, focusing on the release point and wrist flick.
**Intermediate Throws:** Progress to intermediate throws, emphasizing timing, accuracy, and the trajectory of the ball.
**Deep Throws:** Finish with deep passes, concentrating on footwork, hip rotation, and follow-through for maximum distance and
accuracy.
Footwork Drills (20 minutes) - **Drop Backs:** Practice 3-step, 5-step, and 7-step drop backs, focusing on speed and balance.
**Rollouts:** Practice rolling out to both the left and right, throwing on the run, and maintaining accuracy while moving.
**Pocket Presence:** Use a mock pocket setup to practice maneuvering within the pocket, stepping up, and escaping pressure while
keeping eyes downfield
**Cool Down** (10 minutes) Cool down with a light jog and stretching focusing on flexibility and muscle recovery.

Dom Alexander (Testimonial)
To any Quarterback looking to elevate their game, I cannot recommend Coach Ken's Top Gun training highly enough. The curriculum and the culture of excellence will transform you, both on and off the field. It did for me, and I'll forever be grateful for the experience.
Devin Stevenson (Testimonial)
From the first session, it was clear that this wasn't just another training program. Coach Ken focused not just on physical skills but also on understanding the game at a deeper level. We dived into reading defenses, recognizing coverage schemes, and making split-second decisions based on real-time analysis. The blend of on-field drills and classroom sessions transformed my approach to the game.
