More About Coach Katz
Had been coaching elite athletes for more than 10years at EXOS( Formally Athletes' Performance). Recently, became independent performance coach in Los Angeles area. I trained MLB, NHL, NBA, and Euro Soccer players off season training. Also, I have experience with pro baseball team as a strength and conditioning coach in US and Japan. I have CSCS. I use lots of techniques such as FRC, PRI, and DNS etc. to improve athletes performance.
I played baseball and soccer until high school and started coaching strength and conditioning in college. Played in varsity team. I also race MTB(cross-country) and trail run.
My session will be divided in 3 main component. Movement, Strength and ESD(Conditioning).
Movement session will consisit corrective strategy, warm-up, plyometrics, movement skill (Acceleration, Top Speed, Multi Directional Speed, Deceleration, reactive agilities etc.)
Strength session will consist strength and power development (olympic lifting, and weight lifting)
ESD session will consist movement based cardiovascular training. Ex. continuous sprint drill for football, soccer and basketball.
