More About Coach Katherine

I am a USAT and UESCA certified coach who has coached runners, triathletes, and cyclists for over ten years, working with 100 athletes. I am also a certified personal trainer and enjoy incorporating strength into training programs. I am an experienced athlete myself completing six ironman triathlons, the Boston Marathon, and represented Team USA at the Triathlon World Championships. I incorporate formal knowledge from various sources (ex.USA Triathlon, Friel, Noakes, evidence-based studies) as well as my previous coaching experiences.

I am experienced coaching athletes of all ages from beginner to advanced levels. I customize each athlete's workout based upon his/her ability and personal goals. We focus on proper techniques, endurance and stamina, nutritional needs, and mental toughness. As a result of individualizing for each athlete's strengths and weaknesses, athletes improve performance tremendously. I love a great challenge and the opportunity to work with new faces year round.

I could only do one session at this time due to an injury but, to just talk with her and have that knowledge of the best way for me to heal and slowly rebuild into the runner I want to be is priceless.
