More About Coach Kaisha

After my collegiate track and field career was over (Sprng '07), I started out as a volunteer track coach at my old high school. I ran the girls hurdle/sprint groups. After a year of volunteering, I landed the assistant track coach position, which I held for 4 years. During my time as a coach and after, I did private lessons for some high school athletes in the seminole & orange county area, as well as, college/professional baseball players, who wanted to perfect technique and develop maximum speed.

I started in gymnastics at the age of 3-6 yrs. old. I then was introduced to track and field by my elementary school P.E. teacher, at 7 yrs old. I succeed in track and field, all the way through the collegiate level.

Accomplishments:
High School
300H record (Lake Brantley High Shcool)

Collegiate Level:

2017 Southern University A&M Hall of Fame Inductee (Track and Field)
NCAA All-Mid East Regional Team
4xNCAA Regional Qualifier
2xSWAC Team Championship
Several Individual (Indoor/Outdoor) Conference Champion
1 x Javelin SWAC Champion / NCAA DIV I Qualifier

* I was invited to train with a Nike development team for athletes with the potential to go professional and land contracts, however, I opted out and choose a different path.

A session with me, will be Technique, Posture, Strength and Speed focus. Proper technique with the right posture of running, minimizes injuries, yet helps in the development of gaining maximum speed. I always start my sessions off with a thorough warm-up with a jog ( provides proper blow flow to the muscles, good hear rate pumping and loosens up your joints/muscles), some static stretching and dynamic stretching (until body temp is nice and warm/sweating), then I lead into tailored drills (technique/Posture focuse) and short/quick workouts that will help emphasize my four targeted areas I feel are important for specialty position athletes.

Client Reviews

Coach Kaisha was great! My son immediately clicked with her. Her drills and techniques have already improved my his explosiveness for football. We will definitely be booking additional sessions with Coack Kaisha.

Coach Kai, I really appreciate you for the time you've been taken out with my daughter. She loves you for it!
