I am a Track and Field coach who specialized in the throwing events-specifically Discus, Shot Put, and Hammer throw. I have spent the last 4 years working closely with olympic and World Championship level coaches and athletes, while pursuing my own track and field goals. I have experience coaching athletes aged 10-22, both at camps and in a 1 on 1 setting.

I have a depth of knowledge that gives me the ability to design personalized throwing and lifting programs, which will help athletes achieve their best performances at championship meets. Whether you are a beginner or advanced thrower, I can help you create throwing and lifting programs as well provide technical breakdowns and corrections which will give you the tools necessary to compete at a high level.

During my college career I earned:
2 All-American Awards (Discus and Hammer)
5 National Championship Appearances
Men's Field Athlete of the Year at Concordia University.
Personal Best of 180 feet in the discus

During my pro/am career I have attained:
A personal best of 196 feet in the Discus
Top 30 in USA 2016
Top 15 in USA 2017
USATF Outdoor National Qualifier 2017

Throwing and lifting sessions vary greatly in structure and demand. I can provide either of these aspects of coaching individually or in tandem for best results. A throwing session will typically last about an hour and will consist of drills and evaluations composed to help athletes master basic fundamentals, before moving on to more advanced concepts. Lifting sessions will start out slow and increase in intensity and will focus on prevention of injury through mastery of techniques and physical abilities. Both 1 on 1 sessions and monthly personalized programs are available.

Coach Justin scheduled a session with my son and then didn't show up or call us. He also asked me to pay in cash and go around CoachUp which I felt was unethical so I said no. Not impressed. I would give him zero stars but I have to give him 1 to have this review.
