More About Coach Joseph

I got certified as a personal trainer in 2015 through D1 Sports. I have trained kids ranged from ages 7-17. My main focus is developing footwork and basic coordination. Throughout my years of playing I had the opportunity to play with a lot of guys who have played many years in the NFL and also the CFL. I have learned the game and studied the game for many years I am very fluent with my knowledge in this sport. I am now ready to share my knowledge with our youth and help to guide them on the right direction to follow their dreams.

I have been playing football since i was 6 yrs old. I was a high school All State Quarterback in St. Louis, Mo. I went on to attend Jr college at Fort Scott CC. Where i was later moved to defensive back. I competed through one season as a defensive back in jr college and earned a full scholarship to Baylor University. I came to Baylor and became a three year starter as a cornerback in the Big 12. I earned plenty of football experience and learned alot from the players before me such as RGIII and Kendall Wright.

I study all positions in football so i am prepared for any position. In a session Athletes will be asked to get mentally prepared for the workout before they step into what is called The Zone. Once your inside the zone athletes will be coached up through various ladder drills, running techniques, explosive training, and also Abs and conditioning work. All workout will be modified to the ability of the athlete. Session usually last 1 hour.

Coach Joseph done a great job. It was just an initial session so he spent much of the time evaluating my son to see where he is at. He done a real good job of explaining why they were doing the specific drills, what my son needed to correct and what he is doing right. Seems very knowledgable about training and fitness, as well as position specific knowledge. He is training my son to help him make the transition from Wide Receiver to Quarterback, but he also trains other positions as well. Overall, very satisfied and excited to get him as a trainer.
