Joseph Staton

I have been involved with track and field as a Athlete and coach on & off for 26 plus years. I competed on the high school and collegiate level in the shot put, discus, and javelin. I have coached in the middle school, high school, and collegiate level. I typically work with athletes ages 10-18. I am a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist, High School Strength and Conditioning Coach, and USA Level 1 Track and Field Coach.

-Served as Assistant Track and Field Coach (Throws) for Division II Augusta University
-Served as Assistant Track and Field Coach for NAIA Division II Voorhees University
-Served as Assistant Track and Field Coach (Throws) for St John’s College High School
-Served as Head Cross Country/Track and Field Coach for Episcopal Day School
-Served as Head Track and Field and Cross Country Coach for Curtis Baptist School
-Competed in Track and Field for NAIA Division I (now Division II) Voorhees
University (shot put, discus, javelin)
-Coached the Top 10 girls and boys throwers in Washington, DC
-Coached athlete to Washington, DC record holder in shot put 2022

My sessions will last 1 to 1 and half hours. The first session will be an assessment of not only how you throw, but how your body moves as well.
