More About Coach Joseph

I have been a Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach for 6 years. I train athletes ages 12-30 at various levels of skill and experience. I have worked as a High School Strength and Conditioning Coach at Clay Battelle HS (WV) and Boonton HS (NJ) and as a Private Personal Trainer at the YMCA.

I have played Soccer at William Paterson University and competed in Track and Field in (Boonton) High School, (William Paterson University, Bloomsburg University) College, and as an Adult. I played soccer at the DIII Level and ran track (55m, 60m, 100m, 200m, 400m, and Long Jump at the DII and DIII levels.

Depending upon the focus of the client, we would have a dynamic warm-up followed by a pre-prescribed training plan. My favorites are circuit training, High Intensity Interval Training, agility drills, conditioning, and plyometrics. I end every session with a cool down, stretching, and rolling out any tightness. Traditional weight training is also available.

Coach Joe is an excellent coach. He works with my daughter at her level while pushing her to improve. He takes the time to understand where her understanding and skill level are for various aspects of the position. Coach Joe focuses first on developing an understanding of key components of the position then introduces drills and training to develop technical skill.

Joe has helped me get better at being an all around athlete. From strength training sessions at the YMCA to outdoor speed and agility training, he has helped me increase my strength and athleticism tremendously. He also does a great job of explaining what we are doing and why we are doing it, which I really like.
