Over 10 years of experience with personal, semi-private, and group training (boot camps). Served as Command Fitness Leader in the United States Navy prior to branching off to run my own business with JP Fitness Concepts.

My athletic career started, oddly enough, as a distance and middle distance runner. Most of my competitive career in cross country and middle distance took place at the high-school level, with a 5k best of 16:10.
Later in life I moved on to marathon, eventually running two sub-3 hour races before being sidelined with an old knee injury (not sports related).
This led me to powerlifting and strength training, where I eventually added a bit of mass to my fram and attained a 300/400/500 Bench/Squat/Deadlift at a bodyweight of 190.
Currently I am training for physique and bodybuilding competitions as an NPC competitor.
The initial session, after the consultation, is always a comprehensive assessment. Here we will go over various flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular assessments to identify weaknesses and problem areas in order that we can design the most optimal programming to reach your goals. Additionally, we will discuss nutrition in depth and initiate 3-day eating assessment in order to get a handle on the diet and begin to make healthy adjustments.
Typical sessions are approximately 55 minutes. Session starts with dynamic warm-up and moves into exercise programming based on the clients customized needs and desires. Sessions end with facilitated stretching and self-myofacial release.
This is only a basic template, as things changed based on individual differences and goals.
