More About Coach Johnie

I have been coaching track for 15 years from middle schools to the collegiate level. I ran track for Cass Technical High School where I became DPS city champ in the 100m and 3rd at the State meet. I was an All-American at Central Michigan becoming one of the fastest men in the world at 60m. I ran professionally for five years after college. I am a Level I USATF certified coach. My main focus is speed, power, and explosiveness. A typical session with me is examining your strengths and weaknesses then improving general strength. Once that is established then sport specific training will begin with an emphasis on improving speed, power, and explosiveness.
