I have my Level I Road Runners Club of America certification. I have assisted many athletes throughout my 30 years of competitive running during the summer months of high school and college, as well as post-college athletes reach their full potential. Be it time qualifying for the NYC or Boston Marathon, running that Personal Best 5K, 10K, 15K, Half Marathon, or Marathon, I will help customize a program to get you there.
I have helped athletes get their times down into the 15's, 16's and 17s in the 5K, and similar in the 10K and beyond.
My personal best times are as follows:
800m: 1:58
Mile: 4:17
5K: 15:45
4 Mile: 21:20
8K: 27:11
10K: 32:55
Half Marathon: 1:15:09
Marathon: 2:52:00
Session plan is based on where you are in running. I suggest before meeting for an in-person session that we communicate through messaging or a call, so I understand where you are in training. If online/hybrid session order, this discussion will be to understand both physical and mental point in running, goal, and overall experience.
For an actual in person, the first thing we will do is warmup together and work through simple dynamic stretching. Again, session wise depends where are in training cycle, but if base has been established already than we will most likely be doing a workout rather on a loop, hills, or the track. I will coach you through - physically and mentally to make you stronger.
If it's hybrid then you will receive weekly plans (after we have an initial discussion) and we will discuss based on the workouts which days/workouts we will meet for (most likely on tempo, hill, LT threshold, and speed work days).
If completely online - I want to touch base in the beginning and regularly each week for any changes, missed days, tweaks you feel muscle wise so we can adapt the training.
I take running very serious and coaching even more. I want to see you successful - but everyone is different in where they are with training, their experience, and goals - so it is very hard to say exactly what your first session will be till we discuss.
