More About Coach Johnathon
I coach strength and conditioning as well as injury prevention on a pro level. I currently train 2 strongman with the Strongman Corps. A professional powerlifter with USAPL. A CFL football player as well a couple ifbb pro bodybuilders. I have been coaching since 2019 as well as own my own training facility. I do teach beginner level strength training to youth/teen.
I started powerlifting 2019. After winning nationals in 2022 I broke the state record for all three lifts squat bench and deadlift. The following year I broke a national record in squat. In 2024 I broke my first pro strongman record in the log over head press. In 2025 I became a professional powerlifter and now Iām on the national team for USAPL.
A normal day would start with Joint Mobility & Dynamic Stretches (5ā6 Minutes), Muscle Activation (1ā2 Minutes), then warm up sets. I would teach the technique before the lift. Once we finish the lift move to mobility work then end with either cooldown or burnout. Day dependent
