More About Coach Joe
Have coached middle school to collegians with over 35 years of experience over 100 state champions three collegiate national champions and one jr world bronze medalist. I’ve been a Head Coach at Sacred Heart Parochial School in Dodge City, Liberal High School, Bethany College, and Salina Central High School. And have been an Assistant Coach at Dodge Coty High School, Dodge City Community College, and Mcpherson College. Have also helped countless individuals attain national status. I coach all levels and event groups. I also develop speed and strength training for other sports. I am USATF level 2 certified in throws and jumps. Was a USA personal coach for the 2018 world championship team in Finland. USA weightlifting certified. And developed my own speed training clinics.
In high school I broke the javelin and triple jump records. And in college broke the triple jump and 4x200 record. Will in high school broke indoor record in the 60. And was a decathlete in college
A typical session would involve warm up, technical work, speed training, balance training, weightlifting, and would change dependent on training age of the athlete.
