More About Coach Joe

I have been coaching athletes in Sports Specific Programs and Strength & Conditioning work for the last 5 years. I opened Revolution Athletics North, a second location off the original Revolution Athletics to give more athletes an opportunity to improve in all aspects of sports performance. I have trained athletes from ages 7, All State High School Athletes, College All Americans, & NFL players. I am also currently an assistant coach for the Long Island Spartans, Long Island's only select Travel football program coaching 3 different age groups, 10 Under, 12 Under, & 14 Under.

SUNY Cortland Graduate, Defensive Back, 2x All Conference. Hold school record for interceptions in a season. D3Football.com All American. Played in the Arena Football League for 3 years. Teams included the Utah Blaze, Cleveland Gladiators, & San Antonio Talons.

Typical Program consist of 1st 20-25 minute of proper Dynamic warmup & assessment. This is where the athlete and I will go over wants and needs for the day as I progress the athlete through various movement patterns and techniques.

Next 5 minutes is teach time where we go over the main objective for the session whether it is a Strength Based workout or Speed Training (Sprints, Running). I provide examples for each athlete and go over the WHY and HOW of the workout.

Next 20 minutes is the actual prescribed workout of the day. Whether it is a Lift or Running workout, This is where the main lifts are completed or the bulk of sprinting is completed.

Last 10 Minutes is recovery protocol, putting the athletes through simple and effective stretching and recovery strategies to prep for the next session.
