I'm the head men's and women's cross country coach and assistant indoor and outdoor sprints and hurdles coach at Rutgers Camden. I've been coaching youth, teens, and young adults for over 20 years. I have coached elementary, middle, high school, club as well as college cross country and track. I'm USTFCCA certified as well as Altis sprint hurdle trained. I train sprint and long hurdles as well as sprinters, mid and long distance runners. Some of my clients are All Americans and elite runners/hurdlers and my goal is to promote a positive attitude and enjoyment of the sport. If you're entering the police academy and need help with the PT test, I also coach future law enforcement officers.

I was a successful division III mid distance and distance runner at Rutgers Camden. I was on multiple record holding relay teams including the 4x100, 4x400m, and distance medley team. I was an all conference 4x400 relay team member, Second team all conference for the 1500m and 5000m, Honorable Mention in the 10,000 m, and all NJIAAW for cross country. In high school, I was a successful 400 intermediate hurdler and an all county field hockey player. I currently run, mountain bike, swim, and kayak for fun.

Clients can expect a mix of fun and challenging workouts including wicket drills, jumping rope, dynamic warm ups, speed drills, and event specific drills.

Jill is a really knowledgeable and resourceful coach. She has a really well rounded personality, and she is able to relate to my very shy 11 year old daughter. I worked with Jill to learn to 3 step for the 100 hurdles event. I only had a few months of experience before working with her, and she gave me drills that helped tremendously, and I quickly achieved the 3 step. Going into my winter season, I feel confident because of Jill’s experience in hurdles; she gave me the training my coaches didn’t because of their lack of experience with them.

Jill trained my 13 yr old in Javelin. He’s not the most athletic, but she did an amazing job of finding something that he would enjoy and that he could excel at based on his strengths. Jill does a great job relating to the kids and finding that balance between pushing them and supporting them.
Jill has coached both my sons over the years. For my oldest she has helped him improve his fundamentals in sprinting which has improved his time. For my youngest she has helped him enjoy cross country and as a result he has excelled.
