More About Coach Jermaine

I have several years of experience in football, strength & conditioning, explosive performance, wellness and fitness, nutrition and basic boxing in my background. I'm a full-time elite certified personal trainer, coach & mentor, and a retired athlete(arena football). I coach at the high school level and been coaching at that level since 2013. I been training athletes and non-athletes since 2011 all over the DMV and I have my own business(MaineFitClub, LLC).

I completed fours years of high school football, three years of college football, and two years of pro arena football. After my college career, I started my pursuit to the NFL with three tryouts and then found my way to arena football at the end. I competed in high school at BHS, college at HVCC & NCCU, and arena ball with the DMV War Eagles & Randallstown War Hawks. I was 3rd team all conference in college, most improved, and most dedicated in high school.

Clients can expect a 10-12min cardio session first to warm-up and get the heart rate up to a good exercise heart rate of 125 or higher. Then we will go into dynamic and active stretching to get loose and get active muscles groups that we will use in our lifts moving. Then hit the weight room after that. Warm-ups last about 20min. Then weights will be about 40-45min with a cool down and stretch at the end. Looking at about 60min total I’m the gym. For weight lifting, it depends on what the client goals are and focus area for weights. But, always safe on the weight floor. So, form & technique with corrective exercises are Important. I will focus muscle mass, toning, explosiveness, and functional lifts.
