More About Coach Jen
I have an NSCA CPT certified and I'm a Crossfit Level Trainer. I teach all ages, genders, experience levels. I work with kids and adults on a variety of goals, including: weight loss, sport specific training, general strength and fitness improvements, nutrition, Crossfit, mobility and flexibility training, corrective exercise, etc. I have been using weight lifting techniques myself for over 15 years, and have 5 years of strength coaching experience.
I have participated in 3 power lifting events and 3 Crossfit Open competitions. I was a Div 1 college athlete and have been using weight rooms for over 15 years. I squat over 250lbs, Deadlift over 350lbs, Bench press 155 and can press a 105 pound bar over my head. I'm also comfortable with Olympic style weightlifting and plan to compete in those lifts as well.
Most sessions will involve most in not all of the following: Strength exercise by way of power lifting, weight lifting, body weight exercises, plyometric exercises. Also, metabolic conditioning, core work, mobility/flexibility, varied movements.
