Most recently I was a coach at the Naval Special Warfare Prep School at Great Lakes Naval Station, working with students in the training pipeline to become SEALs and SWCC. There I provided workouts and stroke instruction as well as water competency skills like drown proofing and underwater knot tying. In these workouts I helped them progress to the next level of training.

Before that I was student assistant at my alma mater, Florida Southern College where I oversaw and ran practices. There I provided constructive coaching, individual stroke instruction and improvement. Not limiting my abilities to swim coaching I also lead weight room sessions and dry land activities.

Start off with a short stretch session going over that day's workout and talk about the personalized objectives we are aiming to achieve in the specific session. I enjoy challenging, yet skills appropriate, workouts and I never expect to just go through the motions. I am a firm believer of always working towards well-defined goals.

I also do not believe in “cookie cutter” workouts. Every athlete is different. It sometimes requires a different workout and a different approach to training based on the individual to get the best results. My commitment is to working with you, to help you achieve the goals you want.
