More About Coach Jaydian J.

I'm a Certified USA Track & Field, Strength & Conditioning and Sports Nutrition Coach who started coaching Track & Field for the first time during USATF Season under Elite Greyhounds Track Club in The Summer of 2017. I led all six athletes to personal bests in their respective events (100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1500M, Long Jump & Triple Jump). Four of the six athletes earned USATF Junior Olympic Medals in The Triple Jump (Bronze), Long Jump (Silver), 400M (Bronze) & 1500M (Bronze) with one athlete qualifying for The USATF National Junior Olympic Championships in The 1500M. I decided to start my own private Strength & Conditioning/Track & Field Training program in January 2018. In May of this year, I led a Male High School Long Jumper to a Bronze Medal finish at The FHSAA 3A Track & Field State Championships held at The University of North Florida. I trained a Male High School Football player whose combine stats have improved tremendously and went on to become The VTO Sports Top 5 Defensive Backs & Combine MVP which earned him a nomination for The All-American Challenge. I also trained three Female High School Basketball players who improved their running technique, breathing and conditioning to sign National Letters of Intent to play collegiate basketball for Edward Waters College, Wiley College and Manhattanville College. I work with athletes from ages 10 and up. I have received Team USA Safe Sport Training and hold NFHS Certificates in Sports Nutrition, Appearance and Performance Enhancing Drugs and Substances, Sudden Cardiac Arrest & Concussion In Sports.

I represented Miami Killian Senior High School as a 2002 USA #2 Nationally Ranked Long Jumper, 2002 Milesplit USA First Team Elite in The Long Jump, 2002 USA Top 20 Nationally Ranked Triple Jumper, 2002 FHSAA 4A District 16 Long Jump & Triple Jump Champion, 2002 FHSAA 4A Region 4 Triple Jump Champion, 2002 FHSAA 4A State Finals Triple Jump Champion, 2003 USA Track & Field All-American in The Triple Jump, 2003 FHSAA 4A District 16 Long Jump, Triple Jump & High Jump Champion, 2003 FHSAA 4A Region 4 Triple Jump Champion & Long Jump Silver Medalist and 2003 FHSAA 4A State Finals Long Jump & Triple Jump Bronze Medalist. I was also a 2002 - 2003 USA's Who's Who In Sports Inductee for Athletic Excellence & Who's Who Among American High School Students Inductee for Academic Excellence.

I represented The University of South Florida as a 2004 NCAA Division 1 Outdoor Track & Field Qualifier in The Long Jump (Top 26 Jumpers in The Nation), 2005 Conference USA Triple Jump Champion, 2006 NCAA Division 1 Leadership Conference Participant, 2004 - 2007 NCAA Division 1 Outdoor Track & Field Regionals Qualifier in The Long Jump & Triple Jump and 2004 - 2007 University of South Florida Long Jump & Triple Jump Record Holder. I also received 2004 - 2005 Conference USA Commissioners Honor Roll Honors & 2006 - 2007 Big East Academic All-Star Team Honors. I also have experience competing in and training for The 200M, 400M & 4x400M.

In 2016, I made a return to Track & Field and won three Long Jump Competitions.

All depending on the athlete's technique, knowledge and skill level. I will be looking to help them improve speed, agility, power, endurance, flexibility, range of motion, proper breathing and overall performance in their sport/event. There would be a focus on Circuit Workouts, Running Workouts on The Track, Sand and in The Ocean, Hurdle Mobility Drills and more. The session would begin with a warm up lap or two followed by active drills to get the muscles fired up and then we will get into the workout. We will get to know each other as well as discuss expectations and what the overall goals are to be achieved.

Client Reviews

I would like to thank Coach Jay for training my daughter during the summer. Coach Jay’s specialized training, designed specifically to improve Kamoree’s strength and speed did just that! As a result, Kamoree qualified for USATF Nationals recording a 2-3 second 800M split PR. I would highly recommend Coach J for anyone looking to achieve great results.
Hiring Jaydian J. Miller as a Track & Field Program Coordinator, I can attest to his strength of character and compassion for others in our community. With patience and an ability to explain and demonstrate strategy clearly, he drew out the very best from our track & field club team, who, in turn, qualified a total of 6 athlete’s to USATF Regional Track Meet in Jacksonville, FL.
So thankful for Jaydian Miller. The dedication he puts into his clients is hard to come by. Even when he’s not training he’s always coaching and giving ideas to help. Keep up the great job, your loyalty to your clients does make a difference!
What I liked the most about you in my short time training with you is the way you approached your job unlike any coach I’ve ever had. First by creating a good training environment with positive energy, a hands on experience (always demonstrated drills so we can see it first), and helped put the team back on track not only focusing on yourself but getting better and stronger as a team. Something that you did very well (which most coaches lack) is your organization/communication with the athletes and parents, always keeping us in the loop about planning various fundraisers and practices while promptly giving us the info about it. One of the things I appreciated the most about you is the way you valued each individual athlete. You went out of your way to build a relationship with us, cared about how we are feeling, always planned for the future and wanted us to reach our full potential. You did whatever it took to help us reach our goals and encouraged me to not put limitations on my dreams and to set big goals for my future despite the fear of failure that can often hinder one’s goals. You are a great coach and you would never believe it was your first time coaching. You did a great job and I honestly don’t have any complaints or concerns. You just wanted the best for your athletes and did what it took to get us there.
You're one of the best coaches I've ever had in my track career. You know exactly what you're doing and always got the job done. You were always on top of everything and made sure that everything was perfect or at least close enough. You never complained and always wanted the best for us!
Coach J, you are a great guy and made me a better person. You shaped my jump into what it is now. Outside of track, you're funny and a well beloved man not only amongst our team but also with our opponents. I went into Elite Greyhounds to improve my speed for football and you changed my perspective on track. You are the reason why I'm polished in the 200 meter dash and also greatly boosted my long jump by a foot. You are the type of coach we need because you are always telling us what we're doing wrong and telling how to do better. At The USATF Regional Meet, I was ready to go for long jump and you stretched me out and I went to jump. The first time I scratched and the second time I landed a good jump but the third time, I scratched the best jump I ever had. I also had a personal record in my second jump. It was a fun experience but I wish I would have been able to go to Nationals but I have next year. You are the best coach ever and I mean that sincerely.
You are truly amazing! Your passion is shown instantly! You have a heart of gold and it's clear from the way you coach your track team. My daughter learned so much from you. You always went the extra mile just to make sure she was ready for each race; mentally and physically. Because you know how special such moments are, you even took the time to record her national qualifying race. This meant so much to me to see someone took the time to capture such a special time while I was happily cheering my baby girl on! The video is amazing. You are very talented. Coach J, I can't say it enough how thankful I am for your leadership with my daughter. We are so fortunate and blessed to have had you as a coach.
Thank you Coach Jay for all that you did for our kids going above and beyond. The undivided attention you gave our kids as a team and as individuals showed how much you cared and wanted to see them excel to be great. Please continue to hold steadfast to God and give him the praise, glory, obedience and keep humble before him. God will bless you. Thank you for the exercise instruction for my son. Thanks and God bless you!
It has been a great experience. You are very nice, helpful and treated my daughters with respect.
