More About Coach Jason

Hello Everyone! Please take a look below at some of my Football Coaching experiences below.

I have now been training Quarterbacks for 6 years! I work with various ages and skill sets, from collegiate level athletes to 10 year old studs! Within my session, my focus is to implement individualized programs regarding fundamentals, mechanics, offensive philosophy, defensive recognition, and situational analysis.

My coaching experience took off during the Summer of 2015. I was named the Co-Offensive Coordinator along with the Head Coach of Lincoln Park High School located in Chicago, IL. During the summer I put together various types of work outs and clinics. Everything from speed and explosion to on field football skills and techniques. The offensive system was very successful as our starting WR lead the state in TD catches and our quarterback was one of the most successful sophomores within Illinois.

I have since moved to Colorado where I became the Offensive Coordinator, Strength & Conditioning Coach, as well as Assistant Head Coach to Denver West High School. My responsibilities crossed almost everything within the coaching spectrum. I created and built a brand new playbook and offensive system for the high school, as well as lead all Offensive related practices, meetings and depth charts. I was responsible for orchestrating and leading off-season programs, workouts, speed training and practices. It was my job to unite an offensive no matter the age, skill or position. Our running back received 3rd Team All State Honors!

This past year I took my first Head Coaching position for the 5th Grade Golden Football Program. What a ride, what an adventure! I was able to continue to implement offensive and defensive playbook as well as train and develop the athletes in all phases of the game. The experience has since propelled my game and player management abilities. With some fantastic attitude and effort, we took a team who had never won a game and managed to make the playoffs and finish the regular season with a winning record!

I was a three year varsity quarterback at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. Ithaca is one of the most historic and dominate Division III programs and it was an honor to play. I was fortunate to be able to play, start and win over the course of my career.

I played my high school ball in a northern suburb of Chicago, Deerfield High School. I was a two year starter at the quarterback position as well as the place kicker. A two time all conference player, as well as a one time all sectional team.

I am comfortable coaching one on one, in small groups, or with a large group.

Ideally I see two options:

1. 1-4 QBs max. Would only work with quarterbacks to fine tune there skill sets. The smaller the group the better the coaching. I have done this type of work for 4 years now. This work out would include everything from footwork, film work, release points, mechanics, defensive recognition, quarterback IQ.

2. Small Group (10 people max). This would ideally have 2-4 Quarterbacks and 6 Wide Receivers/Tight Ends. This is an offensive skill group work out. The idea is to continue to correct the quarterbacks techniques and skills while also putting them in game like drills. The wide receivers would also get coaching from me as the work releases, route running and footwork. With the wide receivers and quarterbacks we can work together as an offensive unit. This builds relationships, experience and timing. It allows these athletes to work entire offensives concepts as well as individual elements of each type of play.

Client Reviews

This was the first time I used "Coach-up," and was a unsure and hesitant. We had our first session, and Coach Jason was great. He was able to connect with my 10 year-old son, and by the end of the session, my sons passes were the best I've seen. Coach Jason was able to relate stories, principles, and theory behind the quarterback position to my son. Without solicitation, my son told me he had fun, that he really liked Coach Jason, and couldn't wait for his next training session. If you're on the fence or a first timer, Coach Jason met and exceeded my expectations!

Great start for my son, who has never quarterbacked before. He was so excited about what he had learned, he actually got me out to work with him! Jason meshed with him well and he is looking forward to his next session. Thanks Jason for such a positive start!

Coach Jason is good at what he does! My son loved his coaching style and is super excited to work with him again. Coach Jason is very knowledgeable and encouraging. Will definitely book with him again.

Jason quickly established a bond with our son at their first coaching session. Jason is clearly passionate about coaching and football, and it shows in his work. His coaching sessions are well thought out, he provides clear instructions and thorough feedback. He tailors his coaching to our son's age and ability, and we immediately saw improvement in our son's fundamental skills. Our son looks forward to each session with Jason, and we're excited to see what the upcoming season brings with the addition of Jason's coaching. I highly recommend working with Jason.
