As a Yoga Instructor and a practitioner of Internal Chinese Martial Arts. I give my clients easy and quick tools to learn to focus better,develop better stamina,balance,develop flexibility and cultivate internal & external strength. I use techniques from boxing,Tai Chi and Qi Gong.

I'm a certified level one Reiki Practitionar & a Certified Thai Massage Therapist. I incorporate Reiki & Thai Massage in some of my Yoga sessions. Clients find Reiki & Thai Massage soothing and relaxing.
I have been training in the Martial Arts for Twenty Five years. For the last twenty years I have been training in Internal Chinese Martial Arts. I'm currently continuing my Studies & training in Chinese Martial Arts, Tai Chi Qigong. These healing arts have many wonderful benefits. Calming of the nervous system,focus,Strengthening of ligaments and tendons,confidence building. It is my goal as a Wellness professional to pass on these wonderful tools and gifts that have been patiently taught to me by my amazing teachers through out the years.

I begin each Yoga session with a phone or in person consultation. Once a student has retained me as there Yoga teacher I have them fill out a medical history. This informs me of their injuries and Medications their taken. I also ask for Doctors recommendation for movement and contradictions. Chiropractor,Osteopaths and Physical Therapists suggestions help me evaluate what I will teach a student in their Yoga sessions. During the first session I like to address any questions or concerns a student has. This creates a safe and comfortable environment. At the end of the first session I give the student two or three techniques to practice at home.

Jared’s experience as a yoga instructor really came through. He was a very smart and informative yoga instructor. I had no previous experience in yoga but he introduced me to the basics and gave me material I still use 3 years later. He did a great job of relating everything we did back to basketball because I am a basketball player. Very good overall and I highly recommended him.

Jared came to our school on very short notice for our Health and Fitness Day. We had scheduled a different yoga instructor, but he had to leave earlier than expected and we didn't want to disappoint the students - so we reached out to Jared via CoachUp. Jared came on time (early even!) and taught two classes: 8th grade and 1st grade. He was very enthusiastic, and the kids loved the classes. I thought it was an excellent experience and he was great. Also, I have minimal interest, at this point, in the 'spiritual' side of yoga. So, I found the amazing Jared, who was perfect for my requirements. He came to my apartment for six sessions and gave me a very basic introduction to yoga. Jared was an inspiration; and extremely patient.

Jared is a very patient and nice coach. He explains what each step is for and how it benefits your body. He's flexible in terms of timing and will work with your schedule to find a time that works best for you. He works with your limitations and will consider any injuries.

Jared is a wonderful trainer and teacher. I am 56 and not in the best of shape. Jared may me feel comfortable and confident in my yoga session with him.
Update: I have had my 3rd session with Jared. I have taken yoga classes before and always got frustrated because I was not able to achieve the poses and felt insecure in the class. I come to realize no class can take the individual time to offer me the simple tools such as a regular pillow or block to achieve the correct pose. Jared gives you his expertise and individual attention for your body and will make adjustments with you so you can understand the movement and muscles it affects. I strongly suggest no matter what shape you are in or ability to use Jared before you started or in a yoga or movement class.
