More About Coach James
I have been playing or coaching football for the last 22 years consecutively. I Have played at the HS, D1, and NFL level. I went to Oregon State University for 4 years where I was a Captain and All Pac 12 Player. I then played in the NFL for 5 seasons with the Browns, Panthers, and Raiders. Since then I have been coaching HS for Three years both on the Varisity level and 7 on 7 Circuit. I am currently the Head Coach for Xavier College Prep in Palm Desert California. I am looking to help motivated athletes reach their full potential in my free time. I would like to specialize in the 8th grade and below market but am not opposed to HS ages. I look forward to bringing a high level of knowledge and fun to my training sessions!
I have been League MVP, All Sate and All League on the HS Levels. I have been All Conference on the College Level as well as team Captain. I also have started Multiple Games across 4 season in the NFL.
My sessions are tailored towards the individual depending on what they are specifically needing to get better at, that might be personally or within the context of what their coaches ask from them on their respective teams. I am very big on Technique work.
