More About Coach Jamar

My love for football developed a passion in me to establish a career still heavily involved around the game. I bring knowledge from experience of playing the game from 5 all the way to the semi - pro level. I have coached from the little league level starting at 4th grade all the way to the 8th grade level. I've been a head coach and a(n) assistant coach. I've learned how to relate to many players from players perspective as well as from a coaches perspectives. I strive to bring the best out of every athlete that I work with, their best is all that I want them to give!

I started playing football at 5 years old, played non stop up until my freshman year of college. I attend Jacksonville State University and although I was recruited by them I didn't receive a scholarship to play their and I never played ball for them. I did however obtain a B.S. in Exercise Science and Wellness from them and my Sophomore year I tried out for a semi - pro team in Gadsden, Alabama were I was able to play football for 2 more years before hanging up my cleats as they say.

Each session begins with a dynamic warm up. The warm up is followed by position specific drills. The position drills are then followed by new skill drills for the position. Which is then followed by in game execution of those new skills learned and then a technique period that is followed by a cool down.

It was my first session today with Coach Kent. My first impression of him, he was one of the most passionate, caring coaches I’ve ever met! He was very knowledgeable and instantly knew my strengths and weakenesses. He went an extra 20 minutes from my session hours to teach me every little extra detail. Transferring from playing DB to WR, Coach Jamar already had expertised drills to improve different skills. I’m looking forward to working with him, and I recommend him 10/10!

My 11 year old son is transitioning from cornerback to wide receiver. Coach Jamar understood immediately what to work on and gave an excellent session to my son. Very professional with 100% utilization of time. We will definitely be back for more.
