More About Coach Jaivairia
Coach J has been coaching youth athletes for over eight years (specializing in sprints/jumps/hurdles). As a Track and Field athlete myself who has competed under the leadership of some of the best coaches in the world, you can rest assured that your athlete will progress. Aside from Track & Field, I have coached Girls On The Run which is where girls train to run a 5k while learning valuable life lessons.

I am a 3x All-American, NCAA Champion, CIAA penthalon record holder, and a participant in the First Annual Allian Pompey Invitation in Lenora, Guyana. In my earlier years I was a triple/long jumper and won many titles in the state of New Jersey.

Jump sessions are on hold until I locate a new facility to use that is reliable. ‼️
A typical session includes proper warm up drills that focus on mechanics (foot strike-power).
A skips
B skips
Back kicks
Soldier walks
Karaoke
Cycle throughs
Hurdle mobility
Quick hurdles
Cones
Blows outs (build ups)
*all exercises will not be done during a single workout
We then move into the running portion which will be speed work/endurance depending on the athlete’s event.
Example:
Sprinter (150m runs with 2 1/2 min rest)
Long Sprinter (Broken 400m runs)
Last portion is our reflection and cool down
