I am a nerd of science, passionate about human performance optimization, and obsessed with bringing the best out of my athletes. My career highlights include 6 years as a personal trainer and 8 years as a licensed physical therapist. I have worked in all settings imaginable - gyms, outpatient ortho clinics, brain trauma units, outpatient neurology clinics, college athletic training rooms, post surgical acute care units, injured worker rehabilitation clinics, fitness centers - you name it. The result of all this experience, research, and knowledge is an innovative approach to sports conditioning that blends all sciences, accounts for the complexity of physical performance and motion, and creates top athletes. I have worked with all ages and abilities - youth to senior - novice to division 1 college. My credentials include licensed physical therapist, certified personal trainer, certified in Kinesio taping, and educated in postural restoration techniques.
I have been an athlete all my life. In high school and college I was a varsity swimmer and track athlete. I have enjoyed the pursuit of recreational sports throughout my adult life, including snowboarding, mountain biking, distance running, ultimate frisbee, dance, lacrosse, and rugby. My real passion is conditioning and performance enhancement.
My sessions are run according to the specifics of what the client needs. In general a typical session will include program review and updates along with an assessment of progress. From there, dynamic warm up followed by strengthening and conditioning according to the goals of the athlete. Programs and sessions are highly individualized.
