More About Coach Ike

I have been a Sports Performance Coach and Personal Trainer for 4 years. Volunteered for the UC Davis Track team for a year. Throughout coaching I have trained NCAA D1, MLS, CFL, USATF, and MiLB athletes, as well as athletes of all ages!

I recently graduated from UC Davis in 2017 and was a member of their NCAA D1 Track & Field team. On the team, I competed as a jumper and sprinter. Individually I was 10th and 2nd place in UC Davis history in the 100 meters and triple jump respectively and was also the anchor of the school record 4x100 relay team. At Davis I was a two time Big West Champion (triple jump and 4x100). I was also a three time NCAA D1 regional qualifier. Currently I am a Pro-am Track athlete.

During a session I will lead the athlete through a dynamic warm up, followed by a detailed specific weight and strength program with coaching on form and efficiency in movements. My sessions will include the areas of Olympic lifting, plyometrics, injury prevention, mobility, body weight strength, concentric/eccentric strength movements as well as general strength training.
