More About Coach Giovanna
I’m currently a high school track coach working with athletes ages 14–18 in the Portland, Oregon area. I also hold a NASM certification in personal training. My experience is focused on the high school level, where I coach both in-season and off-season, emphasizing performance, conditioning, and injury prevention. I specialize in jumps training (triple jump, long jump, & high jump) and sprint training.
Competed at the Division I level as a high jump athlete at Washington State University and was a part of the WSU Athletics All-Academic Team.

Sprint Training: Ex for different sessions (speed focused: resisted sprints/sled pulls & 6x60m block starts OR wicket runs for posture and frontside mechanics. Endurance focused: 200m repeats, hill runs OR stadium stairs. Power focused: Sled pulls, hurdle hops, bounds, medball circuit)
Jumps specific training: technical jump session ex (HJ- Circle runs, approach drills, actual jumping on pit if available, LJ- runway drills, short approach jumps, landing drills) or sprint power session
