Gerardo F.

Hello I am Gerardo Flores. I have competed in track and field for a total of 10 years, 6 of those in College. I represented Cal Poly Pomona, a Division 2 school, in the throwing events. Those events included shot put, discus throw, hammer throw, and the javelin throw.
I have spent time learning from coaches with over 20 years of Division 1 experience. I am not currently coaching with an organization or school, but will soon.
I work with all youth ages 7-17 years old.
I am in the process of earning my USATF Level 1 Throws certification.

I competed for Division 2 school Cal Poly Pomona in the throwing events for 6 years. I have earn All-Conference honors in the shot put and hammer throw events.

First session will consist of film analysis if available. If none available the athlete’s throw will be assessed for areas of need. Once the need is identified we will spend the rest of the session improving that area. Leaving the athlete and their family with drills to continue practicing the area of need until future sessions.

Future sessions, depending on the amount of time left with the athlete we will spend our time focused on addressing the largest area of need for the athlete. Then we will move forward with a specific plan to help develop the athletes area of need.
