More About Coach Garison

I have coached many kids at a basketball camp, and I coached many college teammates as an athlete. I have helped coach elementary to middle school in the basketball camps and also guided college athletes to help them improve and compete at a high level. In college I was the Captain of the Track and field team in college, the teammates I assist are from the ages of seventeen through twenty-two.

As a high school athlete, I qualified in the 400m, and 200m dash and was the first track student-athlete at my high school to get a college scholarship. In my collegiate career, I have broken an indoor 400m record, multiple 4x400m indoor and outdoor records, and have been all-conference in the 400m outdoor. I have finished in the top five at the conference this year, indoors and outdoors.

A client should expect me to target weaknesses to make them strengths and make strengths second nature. I will specifically focus on building top-end speed, essential for all sprints, even long ones, and strengthening all the muscles needed for sprinting. To develop top speed, it will be a lot of 40-meter flies, sled pulls, and hill runs. There will be plenty of Nordic hamstring curls, single-leg RDL, and balance exercises for strengthening.
