I have coached at the local high school level as an offensive line coach. I have worked with middle school and high school athletes. I am an offensive line talent evaluator with Xperteval. I am currently a college football analyst for ESPN 3 telecast.

During my time competing as a high school athlete I was a first team all- american offensive lineman. I played for The Florida State University Football team from 1991-1995. I was a starter on the 1993 National Championship Football Team. I protected Heisman trophy winner Charlie Ward and opened holes for running backs William Floyd and Warrick Dunn.

A session with me will focus on detail. 1.Teach players safety by keep shoulders square, back straight, neck bowed with head up. 2.Teach players importance of choppy steps and maintaining a wide base. 3.Teach player to complete blocks with hip thrust and arm extension. 4.Teach lineman on double-team blocks to maintain hip-to-hip relationship; drive up through defender and finish blocks. 5.Teach appropriate technique on combination blocks, show lineman how to start in one direction and determine if he or other lineman should shed combo block to cover secondary defender. 6. Teach players the importance of gaining ground on first step not allowing defensive player to get leverage. 7.Teach players to roll through defenders legs on cut blocks. 8. Proper hand placement technique 9. Teaching players to be squatters not back benders.10. Teach players not to tip defense with different stances on a passing play as opposed to running plays.11. Teach players the appropriate manner to take an open step when pulling.
