More About Coach Ferenc

Coaching has been a part of me ever since I started playing football at a young age. I even coached up my own teammates in high school and college whenever we had the time during or after practice. It has always been in my intentions to make the athletes that want to become better, greater. I started by coaching the High School Powderpuff Games for my junior and senior years. Once I had the realization that coaching is what i desire to do, it became easier from there on. I've continued my experience by coaching freshman high school football for a couple summers. That got me to understand the levels of play better for all age groups and skill groups. I also had the pleasure of participating in a program at CMU coaching children between the ages of 6-12 for a few semesters. The experience of seeing all those children having fun while getting better and working hard at their position brought towards myself a feeling of accomplishment that has driven me to the coach I am today.

My athletes aren't the only ones that get better at their position, I as a coach can only get better at my own position by learning from my athletes. I am very capable of coaching all age groups and level of skill so i can improve them. I've learned that high school coaches focus on one team, but not as much on the individuals that make up the team. I have gained great technique and time experience from my personal coaches that allows me to focus on the individual athlete. So that athlete can be the best of the best with no limitations.

Limitations and impossibilities are simply man made ideas design to slow down or stop the human potential. If you always put limits on what you can do, physically or anything else, it'll spread over into the rest of your life. It'll spread into your work, into your morality, into your entire being. There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. A man must constantly exceed his level.

High School: I played high school football at Steele Canyon High School. I was a starter all four years as a Offensive lineman and as well as fullback in important downs. I also played both ways and played Defensive line. I played varsity both my junior and senior years. I am capable of playing every position on the offensive line, defensive line, and also a back set as fullback.
- First team All-Grossmont South League, First team All-County, First team All-San Diego, First team All Conference, and First team All CIF.

All-star: I also started in the Alex Spanos Classic All-Star Game.

ColIege: I also played two years of college football at Southwestern Community College and received a -First team All Conference as a Left Gaurd the first year and Second team All Conference as a Center the second year.

University: I transferred to (CMU) Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri on a football scholarship as a center for my final years of college football.

Semi-Pro: I played for the Thunder Cats as a starting Center and am a 2017 & 2018 Super 8 West Coast Champion.

Pro: I played professional indoor football for the San Diego Strike Force for the 2019 season.

I like to start off by stretching and while doing so talk to my students to see and understand where they are in their position. I want to know how their mentality is about the sport, what they wish to accomplish, and which athletes they look up to as role models. I want to get to know their drive on the sport so i can push them a lot farther into the philosophy, and reasoning of the sport itself. To have a complete understanding of the sport as a whole. Then I prepare the student and engage their interests into the practice itself. At the end of the hour, i want my students to leave with knew knowledge of the sport, position, and with a set of skills that they didn't have when the session began.

Football is a sport of patience and mental toughness, but most importantly technique. It is a game of seconds, but also a game of opportunities. You always have the next play. It only takes one play to change the outcome of the whole game. I can show you how to become mentally tough in the game so you can be patient at every play. You don't have to be the biggest, strongest, fastest, tallest person to make something happen in the game. With patience and technique i can show you how to control your mental state to excel in every second of the game. With no lose of drive or athleticism.

Technique is the overall focus of the session with my students. In run blocking I show you how to take the footwork for certain alignments that the defense/offense makes, hand placement for certain angles, head placements for certain directions, and the mental toughness that defines you as an athlete. I work on pass protections, the proper way to pass block, the proper way to pass rush, how fast or hard of an angle one must take when kicking back, and how to snap/shotgun/long snap the ball. When it comes down to it repetition of technique to the point that you develop muscle memory is the important key to become great at your position.

At the end of every session i like to see that my student is standing taller with their head up knowing that what they did today, is working and that they got it right.

Coach Ferenc is great! After a couple of sessions my 9 year old son has shown extreme improvement! Working on the basics from the ground up.

Coach Ferenc is a great coach. You can tell right away that he knows what he is teaching. He makes sure you are always doing everything right to get the most out of the training.

Coach Ferenc is excellent. My loved all the fundamentals, drills and stretches.

He did a great job with my son and broke things down to make it more simple to understand. Focus was solely on my son. Would recommend him to other players.

Awesome football and general strength and conditioning coach. Worked with us on setting goals for our 11 year old football player.

Coach Terence is a fantastic trainer. Loved his attitude and motivation. He really helped step my game up as an athlete.

Coach Ferenc is very professional and noticed my son’s weakness and teaching him the techniques that he needs to improve, top notch techniques. Coach Ferenc besides being very professional he is a very nice person and strives to make his coaching help my son. Definitely would recommend Coach Ferenc.

I liked how coach Ferenc approaches his job. At the first training session, he tested my son's abilities, made assessment and gave recommendations on training strategy. He also assisted us with some helpful advises about post injury exercises and recovery process.

Ferenc is an amazing coach. Our goal for our son who is about to enter a D1 High School as a Freshman was to prepare him in advance while allowing Ferenc to come alongside his High School football coaches program. We feel our son is now better prepared for and understands better what to expect as he enters the high school program. Ferenc has a very strong understanding of the game and roles specific positions play on the field. We are looking forward to a great season working with Ferenc.

As we were training I️ was always given clear feedback and everything we did made sense and always talking about the “why’s?” behind what we did so I️t all came together as a learning experience. Ferenc was able to identify what my weakness were and quickly target them so I️ can start making immediate changes. Great first experience and I️ definitely felt I️ was being pushed to do and be better.

During my pursuit in playing Division 1 football, having a specialized personal coaching is what set me apart from my competition. Working with Coach Ferenc, I was able to take my game to next level and was taught how to football like the pros. He’s a patient, understanding, and knowledgeable coach who will not only teach and critique proper football techniques, but also build confidence in life and the game of football in each individual he comes across... no matter the age. Coach Ferenc helped me receive a full scholarship to play football at the University of South Dakota, and I was able to keep up and out compete the athletes here due to my knowledge, experience, and athleticism all of which Coach Ferenc is able to create. Any individual, no matter the experience level, can highly benefit from Ferenc's personalized coaching. Coming across a great coach is really a rare thing. This is a great opportunity for anyone seeking to take their game to the next level, exercise, and learn about the art of football.
