More About Coach Fallyn

I have a passion for the sport of track and field. I found my passion at the age of 16, which is when I started coaching. It's definitely a privilege for me to share the full experience of track and field with each athlete I coach. My goal is to educate, motivate and help the athlete by not only reaching but over exceeding personal goals.

I have 11 years of experience and I'm in the process of completing my USATF Level 3 Certification. Also, I am under the mentorship of Coach Vince Anderson at Texas A&M University and Cornelius Young USATF Level 3 & IAAF 5 Coach.

My first 5 years of coaching, I developed athletes between the ages of 8 and 18 for Team Waco's Summer Track Program. Several of my athletes, have committed and are competing at recognized programs at the Division I level in Track and Field.

In 2011, I volunteered at the University of Dallas (Irving Campus), developing coordination, fundamentals, and event specific in several athletes.

From 2012- 2015, I was hired at The Oakridge School, where I developed the lower and upper school athletes in various sports and events. I coached and assisted with every event from jumps, hurdles, sprints, relays, and throws.

Client Reviews

Coach Fallyn was great. Learned a ton the first lesson. Highly recommend for hurdle lessons.

Lauren loved her session with Coach Fallyn. She was very informative and explained things in a way that she could relate to. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Coach Farrow was a excellent coach. After just 3 sessions my clearance over the hurdles and how fast I got between them improved so much. She was always prepared before the sessions, was never late, and wasted no time during the sessions. She gave drills to do at home and workouts. Before the workouts she gave good stretches and made sure I was loose. She knew what she was doing and was always ready and critiqued little things during drills that led to improvement overall. We will definitely be scheduling with coach Farrow again.

Coach Fallen was wonderful! My son met with her for hurdles coaching. She was very thorough in everything. From stretching, to coming out of the blocks, and all the small details of getting over the hurdle more efficiently. He and I both learned so much in just 1 short hour. Highly recommend her!!

The sessions we had with Coach Fallyn were awesome! She really helped my daughter understand why she was telling her to do certain movements. We were preparing for regionals and state; we left feeling much better prepared. My daughter knows what to do, and I have the information to help her.

Awesome! Coach Fallon did a excellent job of communicating with my daughter. I will definitely recommend her to our team. She is very knowledgeable. I look forward to having her work with my daughter in the future!!!

Fallyn worked under me as a volunteer track coach and assistant since spring 2011. She is dedicated, knowledgeable and a great teacher. As the head track coach at the University of Dallas, I was extremely lucky to have a talent as great as Fallyn to work with my athletes this past spring. Her passion for the sport, dedication to coaching, knowledge, positive energy and excitement had a great effect on my team. Fallyn’s prior experience as a Division I multi-event track athlete gives her the ability to accurately demonstrate imperative skill needed for athletes to perform at high levels. Fallyn’s excitement for what she does drove her to be proactive in providing feedback to the athletes. She often analyzed athletes’ events and held mini meeting with them on the ride back to campus. Even though she was a volunteer, she gave us her time at practice and on the weekends at meets.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Farrow since high school. I was quite impressed the way she competed with tenacity. Fallyn’s times were definitely impressive at the high school level. I have observed Ms. Farrow as she coached summer track and have seen some remarkable improvement within the program (Team Waco). I believe her athletes’ times would rival any in the state. I am a friendly rival of hers but I still have to give her kudos for a job well done. Fallyn believes in hard work and discipline. It is evident from the way her athletes compete. The individuals she coached seem to have a totally different attitude and approach to track and field. Her passion and dedication for the sport seemed to have taken hold of her athletes.
Over the past several years, Fallyn has worked feverishly to improve the quality of instruction given to Waco’s athletes and has shown the characteristics required of an exceptional track coach. On many occasions, Fallyn has shown an immense amount of knowledge and wisdom in regards to coaching high performance athletes. She has commanded the respect and adoration of fans, athletes and coaches alike in the Waco community by displaying her determination and dedication to the sport of track and field. Her ability to craft training sessions that are specific to the individual needs of each of her performers further exemplifies her commitment to the evolution of the athletes she trains. Under her instruction, athletes have achieved standards and goals that were previously presumed unattainable by their critics. Among these achievements are state championships, superlative awards, and state records in track and field. During her tenure with the city, Fallyn has shown that she is not afraid of a challenge and is willing to put forth the necessary effort to succeed in her professional endeavors. Her ability to not only train athletes, but teach them about the sport and how to succeed has allowed her to elevate her standing as a coach. In addition, she has mentored numerous other coaches; she has continuously allowed the City of Waco’s track program to grow by teaching others how to relate to athletes in order to achieve maximum results. Furthermore, her display of hard work has increased her responsibilities over the years to administrative levels; she has aided with inventory, athlete registration, allocation of duties to fellow coaches, and officiating (track meets). Fallyn has been fundamental in the vast growth and success of the city’s program over the years. She is appreciated for her incredible work ethic, wealth of knowledge, and her everlasting desire to learn. She constantly seeks to enhance herself and those that seek to learn from her. She is wonderful to work with and her willingness to adapt has enabled her to incorporate herself into any environment. The respect that is given to her has always been reciprocated, and she will bring joy, experience, integrity, and success to any track program.
It is a pleasure to have been asked to write on behalf of Ms. Fallyn Farrow; I was one of the athletes she coached in Team Waco’s Summer Track Program during the years of 2007 and 2010, with the 16 and under group. Under the supervision and coaching of Coach Fallyn, we won our regional meets and placed in our state summer track meets each year. As my head coach, Fallyn instilled in myself as well as the other girls she coached, the drive, determination, and skillset necessary to success as a track athlete and as a young adult. Fallyn Farrow is dependable, trustworthy, responsible, and extremely goal-oriented. She sets forth plans for success and implements her plans with her coaching skills and plans. She made sure each practice was planned according to what would improve our times. Fallyn’s work produces successes. She has always been an incredibly devoted and inspiring person, and would even run with us during practices in order to push us for better times. Her goal was to improve each person individually to make a more cohesive and successful team as a whole. Fallyn’s level of effort set the standard for what we delivered in competition. She is an inspiring and motivational coach always expressing how much she cares through her efforts during practices. Furthermore, Fallyn responds to the call of leadership and expects the same effort to be given as she gives. Her thoughtful comments and personal attention are well received by each of the members she coaches. She has distinguished herself as an amazing and successful coach by her personal hard work, and has also earned much respect throughout the city of Waco for the way her track members have demonstrated sportsmanship and fostered growth and improved performance. At the middle school and high school levels, with Fallyn as my coach in the summers, I improved tremendously in my personal races (400m dash, 200m dash) as she worked on my technique, breathing skills, and my mindset – all of which are incredibly critical to success as a runner. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus at a very young age and was blessed to still be able to compete in sports, but the diseases affected my health sometimes during practices and meets. Fallyn was always looking out for my well- being and health. She was aware of what I could handle and did not let me feel sorry for myself nor work under my ability. Her devotion and support did not just end at the end of summer track; she attended my meets and was always eager to give me pointers on my performance. As a college track athlete herself, she was a helpful and trustworthy coach and friend. Fallyn Farrow has earned a reputation as a hard-working, respectful individual who strives to excel and motivate the athletes she coaches. She produces passion in her runners and is always willing to give any assistance necessary to motivate. As a high school track athlete whose goal was to run in college, I was inspired by Fallyn who pushed me in ways that my former high school track coaches could not. Her knowledge of running and personal experience as a collegiate track athlete adds to her expertise in the sport, and this sets her apart from any other coach I have ever met and performed under.
