More About Coach Ethan
As a current D1 athlete at San Jose State University I have a passion for coaching and have coached multiple athletes in all different age groups from as young as 8 up to 20 years old. I have hosted my own jumps camp in my hometown of Stockton, Ca where I worked with over 40 athletes. I typically work with athletes anywhere from 13-18 years old. I have also been trained with some of the best jumps coaches in the country.
I am a D1 Track & Field athlete at San Jose State. Wrapping up my sophomore year with a PB of 51 feet in the triple jump and 24'4 in the long jump, I earned First Team All-Conference, Team MVP, and punched my ticket to the NCAA championships. In high school I was ranked #1 in CA in the triple jump and was awarded First Team All-State. I am currently one of the best dual jumpers in the country and would love to share my knowledge with you!
In our first session we will typically do an evaluation to assess where you are physically and technically and then from there, I'll put together a specific training plan catered to your specific needs. During each session we will focus on different parts of the technique your event requires. We will likely also work on speed and plyometrics. I will give you work you can do at home outside of each session such as core, or stability work, and tips that helped me achieve my goals as a D1 athlete. If you have any questions outside of our sessions, feel free to send me a text, I'm always available to help my athletes!
