More About Coach Erica
I am CPR/AED/First Aid/Lifeguard Certified, and I have coached and taught people of all ages in both a swim team and one on one level for over four years. I have worked in Kentucky while I competed for the University of Louisville Swimming and Diving Varsity program, coaching using in the water and out of the water instruction.
I was a member of the University of Louisville's Varsity Swimming program throughout college, attending the NCAA Championships, and scoring at the ACC Championship competition.I was Boston Globe's High School Swimmer of the year for four years, and MVP of my high school Varsity Swim Team for four years.
We will always start with a proper warm up for every session, focusing less on technique and more on warming up the muscles. I like to work in an extremely client specific manner, by communicating with them on what their goals are, and designing a plan around those needs and goals. All of this is done while having lots of fun too!

The opportunity to have your child work with a Former Division I swimmer is invaluable. Many people can teach you how to swim. Very few can spot the minor flaws in a stroke to take a good swimmer to great or a great swimmer to take a run towards elite. My son loved his session and dropped 2 seconds in his IM after one lesson....which as all swim moms and dads know is a lot! Highly recommended!

I'm an adult learning to swim. I had a great first lesson with Erica. She was very clear in her explanations and very encouraging. Will take more lessons with her!

Awesome coach! Coach Erica has been helping our children (both on swim teams) improve their stroke techniques. She has a lot of experience and knowledge! We really like the fact that she swam on one of the top NCAA teams and trained with a world class coach. Our children found her to be very friendly and approachable. We highly recommend her!

Erica is working with our 4 year old son, and it's clear she knows how to gain the trust of the child. She's very patient and makes swimming fun for our son! She's also quick with an assessment and tools to make the lessons more effective.
