More About Coach Emory

Have learned from pros my whole life, then became a national champion in college and became a pro myself. 10 plus years of receiver coaching.

Emory Blake attended Austin High School, was apart of the Nike underclassman All-American team, and established himself as one of the top receiver recruits in the country.
He decided to accept a full scholarship to Auburn University where he was a 4 year letterman. Emory led the 2010 national championship team in receiving touchdowns from Cam Newton his sophomore year. He want on to be the leading receiver his junior and senior year. Receiving honors such as making the ALL-SEC team and being on the Biletnikoff watchlist.
After Auburn, Emory then went to the pros where he was signed as a free agent to the Rams. He played for the Rams for three years before retiring.

We will go through intensive motion drills to make sure your body is flexible and fluid. At the reciever position fluidity is key. Keeping everything strong yet loose. We will work on heavy core, and body positioning movements. A receivers body control needs to be strong in order to make insure you can make certain plays on the ball while in the air. We will go through footwork drills, quickening your feet and quick twitch muscle movements. Hip explosion movements as well as hip rotation movements. Speed and running form drills. Hand eye coordination, reaction, and catching drills. Proper route running techniques. Cover knowledge of reading coverages and defensive techniques and tendencies.
