More About Coach Edvandro

Starting in 2009, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, I coached kids aged 10 to 18 years old in track and field running events. Over time, I started training athletes of all ages in short to long-running events such as the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 5k, 10k, half marathon, and marathon. I took my coaching to the next level by coaching and training world-class paralympic athletes. My wheelchair sprinter athlete was ranked 11 in the world in 2018 before I moved to the US. I also led and coached today's fastest female blind sprinter in the world.

Coached Elite Paralympic Athletes at International Competitions in Brazil, New York, and London.

First, we will schedule an initial session. I will get to know each client on a more personal level from their social habits, diet, physical and mental health, fitness practice, and current goals. A test assessment will be performed to determine the current level of aerobic fitness, strength, technique, posture, and form.

Second, I will create a plan for the client's running goal or future running event. Establishing a strong foundation will be an important first step of the plan to address basic areas that may need improvement in the individual's habits, diet, form, and technique. This is important for injury prevention and maximizing performance. The training and my coaching plan will extend from there.

Training sessions will vary greatly depending on the client, their level of fitness and technique, their development needs, and their goals. In general and not limited to, the actual sessions may include any of the following: stretching, warm-up drills, running technique and form, training drills, interval training, recovery training, competition simulation, and mindset exercises.

Group running programs are also available which can increase your mental drive and competitive spirit.

Coach Junior is one of the best running trainers I have ever worked with. My main focus was to lose weight, and in just 1-2 months, I could see the changes in my body and had lost around 8-10 pounds.
