More About Coach Dunia
I am an Italian experienced coach and athlete with a background in training teenagers and adults across various track and
field disciplines like hurdles, sprint (and relays too), jumps and all the throws. Since 1986 I led athletes to more than 50
Regional Championships victories, with two achieving Young Italian National Championships titles. Personal
achievements include a 3rd place finish at the 2019 Italian Master National Championships in hammer throw. I trained a track and field group in Italy until I came here in Boston. I got my degree in Physical Education and I have a coach certificate - ALLENATORE - from FIDAL (Federazione Italiana di Atletica Leggera - Italian Athletics Federation)
In all these years, I trained all the track and field disciplines, but my favorite is the hurdles. However, when I was an athlete, I was 8th in the Italian National Championship with the 4x100, and during the University, I was 4th and 5th twice in the Italian University Championship
A typical session start with warm up (run, stretching, mobility exercises, strides), then the most important part about the technique of the discipline. After that, the focus will be on the strength if necessary, and/or some drills on various distances
