More About Coach Donald
Coach Walker has coached swimmers from novice to Olympic Trial level. His club swimmers have qualified for Nationals, Junior Nationals and Texas Age Group State Championships. His high school swimmers have earned All American honors, State, Regional, State Championships. In 2014 his high school team won the Texas UIL State Championship and were runner up in 2017. Coach Walker high school teams have been ranked in the top ten for Texas high school swimming the past six years. Coach Walker is the 2021 recipient of the TISCA Theron Pickle Lifetime Coaching Award and, the 2018 USA Swimming Lifetime Membership Award. Alamo Area Aquatic Association was inducted into the Texas Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame for 2020.
Don Walker is a NCAA Division ll All American swimmers (3x), NAIA All American swimmer (2X), and PSAC State Collegiate Champion (4X). He was inducted into the Mechanicsburg High School Hall of Fame in 1997. In addition, he led his Clarion University of Pennsylvania team to a 5th place finish at the NCAA Division ll Championships in 1981.
Coach Walker will work on drills for the four competitive strokes using the latest technique, start and turn drills as well as strategies on how to swim at an optimal level.

We just started with Coach Donald and he is fantastic. He is very professional, knowledgeable and intune with swimmers. We are greatful to have found him and will be using him thru the year to fine tune our daughters performance. His location is perfect with a lap pool he follows the swimmer each way and gives them helpful pointers on how to improve each hand movement, leg position, stroke etc.
