More About Coach Dominique
I bring over 9 years of coaching and athlete development experience, working with youth and young adult athletes ranging from ages 8 to 20. Throughout my career, I have built, managed, and led a competitive youth track program, guiding athletes to high-level success, including 10 All-American titles and one National Championship title.
I have served in head coaching roles for four years, including at Valley High School in Las Vegas and within a nonprofit youth track club, where I was responsible not only for training and competition preparation, but also for athlete development, team culture, and long-term growth. My coaching approach emphasizes discipline, character, mental resilience, and performance consistency, particularly for athletes who are committed to excellence both on and off the track.
I primarily work with dedicated athletes ages 10–19, supporting them through critical stages of athletic and personal development. In addition to on-field coaching, my background in sports psychology studies informs my training philosophy, allowing me to integrate mental performance, confidence building, and emotional regulation into my coaching practice. I am actively pursuing advanced education and certifications to further strengthen my impact as a coach and mentor.
I was a top contender throughout high school, consistently reaching finals in my events and earning two state championship titles. After high school, I continued my athletic career at Pasadena City College, where I had the opportunity to train under Larry Wade, a former elite athlete and coach who remains a trusted mentor and influence in my development as both an athlete and coach.
Clients can expect a holistic and individualized approach in every session, where we address both mental and physical performance. I combine strength and conditioning, speed development, agility training, and sport-specific drills, all tailored to the athlete’s unique goals, skill level, and development needs.
A typical session begins with a dynamic warm-up and mobility work, followed by technical skill development, focusing on proper mechanics and efficiency. We then move into performance drills, such as sprint technique, reaction and agility exercises, and targeted strength or conditioning work. I also integrate mental performance coaching, including focus, confidence building, and strategies for competition preparation.
Every session is customized, ensuring that the athlete not only improves physically, but also develops the discipline, mindset, and resilience necessary to succeed on and off the field.

Jaelen speaks (Testimonial)
Coach Dom has pushed me and seen the best in me when I didn’t see in myself. I didn’t even like track at first but she helped me understand the sport more and grow in confidence.
