I have been active in the field of health and fitness for over two decades and hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Exercise and Sports Science with emphasis in Exercise Physiology / Sports Medicine from The University of San Francisco, as well as Certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, and USA Weightlifting. I have successfully trained clients of all ages and levels of ability. I specialize in full body conditioning & strengthening, as well as integrated flexibility training, core strengthening, rehabilitation therapy, sports specific training & performance training for all sports. From professional athletes seeking to hone their core strength and flexibility, to patients facing sports injuries, age-related or degenerative medical conditions, as well as weight loss concerns, my unique skills help each client achieves optimal results efficiently and safely. I work with a wide variety of clientele with special health & fitness needs and my straight-forward, no-nonsense approach to training is certain to assist you on the path to your health and fitness goals.

I trained and competed with the athletes of the Greek National track & field team at 800m and 1500m. I played semi -pro competitive soccer for division B soccer league in Greece and then moved to the USA.
I continued competing for Hunter College of CUNY and then for BYU-Hawaii in long distance running.
In 1991 moved to California and played soccer at Univerity of San Francisco and currently, I continue playing recreationally for various soccer leagues in the Bay Area.

Working from the center of the body (stability, core) and then going outward (movement & force, by executing strength training exercises), my training creates symmetry and balance tailored to client’s needs.

I've been training with Demetrios intermittently for the past year and its been great for me. I've lost 20+ pounds and he's shown me how to keep them off easily. Demetrios is an awesome personal trainer! I try to work out with him 3 times a week at the Sports Club LA/San Francisco ( currently Equinox Sports Club). Demetrios always introduces new exercises to keep the workouts interesting. and also helped me recover from hip injury in time for me to run the Chicago marathon last year.

He has a great understanding of anatomy and exercise physiology and has always tailored my workouts to a very holistic combination of strength, balance, and cardiovascular fitness, allowing me to capitalize on gains and adjust workouts to avoid injury. The level of dedication that Demetrios brings to his career as a trainer really is inspiring, and is one of the reasons why I have continued to work with him. He has a great personality, is both caring and tough, and is thoroughly reliable. I leave our sessions every week feeling both exhausted and refreshed.
