More About Coach David
Personal Trainer 17 years
I’ve competed over 30 thousand in person sessions with clients ranging from high school, college and professional athletes, to your local teacher and even my mom.
Performance Coach - PES 12 years
Working with small group and individual athletes with a holistic performance coaching concept - physiological, psychological, nutrition and recovery.
Sports Nutrition PN1 - 7 years
Every athlete needs to eat to perform and maintain/improve peak health.
A lifelong athlete, I have competed and played a various levels across lots of disciplines, with soccer being the focal point. I played with several academies and high level club teams as a kid and teenager in Scotland. I captained my high school team and played senior varsity as a freshman. I competed at local and regional meets for track and field running in the 400 meters and throwing the javelin.
I played semi professional soccer in Scotland while simultaneously starting my coaching career in both Soccer and Personal Training.
Since then, I have continued to coach and train everyday clients, college hopefuls and pros as a performance coach, sports nutritionist and personal trainer.
All sessions are planned and executed based on the individual or small group goals and needs.
Every athlete completes an intake form and questionnaire, goes through a functional movement screen and we establish baselines of strength, stability, mobility and flexibility.
Generally speaking, a session flow might look something like this:
Activation/Warmup drills- mobility/stabilty
Speed/Explosive/Elasticity work
Strength Work
Conditioning/Finishers/Work Capacity Training
Warm Down/Recovery
