My teaching style comes from gained valuable experiences in the classroom as a teacher, camp directors, my outstanding h.s. and college coach, serving season ticket holders for the Miami Heat and interactions with thousands of kids from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. I have been involved with athletics as early as a young child. My competitive drive and commitment to development earned me multiple awards in high school baseball and basketball and college basketball.

Learned many valuable lessons about winning and losing as a player and coach. Sports and competition has been my greatest life teacher.
We focus on techniques that involve proper footwork, moving with and without the ball, ball handling with movement, passing, shooting, on ball and off ball defense, confidence and overall understanding of your game. Bring a note pad for journaling.
Expect multiple drills mixed with conditioning with and without the ball and lots of footwork! Read/react drills help you be a threat on the court. Mental toughness is part of every session. Coach Dave was better than advertised, I was very pleased with what he was able to teach my daughter in just 8 sessions. Very professional, challenged my daughter with the physical part of the game, but more importantly the mental challenges that are a huge part of basketball. Unfortunately the coaches that have been in charge of my daughters bball career have for the most part failed on teaching some of the basic skills of the game, coach Dave took the time to show Mia simple but challenging drills to improve her game.
