Darrell B.

I am a 6th year Track and Field Coach at one of the most dominate, diverse, and versatile teams in the state of Connecticut. My specialties are sprints, relay, and jumps as well as a little long distance. I have coached conference, state, and national champions in youth and high school arenas. I am a teacher, an i genuinely love working with kids so they can learn the sport, I have a ideal that I stand by and tell my athletes; "As long as you are doing your best at anything you do you'll always be a success."

I ran in high school competition on a state championship indoor team. After High school I did not compete collegiality but instead I chose to become a student of the sport and became a USATF Certified official so I could learn more about the sport on the other side of competition. Shortly after that I became a high school boys and girls track and field coach.

In a typical session a client can expect promptness and consistency in training as well as versatile and challenging workouts. I believe athletes need all of these ingredients to perform at their highest ability. We warm up with as close to an 8 minute mile as possible, get into some Dynamic stretching and drill and depending on the event we'll get going from there!
