More About Coach Danny

I played quarterback in High School for four years, and have continued to help coach various kids around the Charlotte area. I attended the Manning Passing academy, a famous quarterback academy hosted by Peyton and Eli Manning, as a participant and a camp volunteer instructor. I evaluated talent by studying footwork, speed, systems, size, strength, arm talent, and overall football mechanics, all to determine a players ranking. Both College and Pro level. Aside from coaching, I currently work for the Carolina Panthers in their Guest Relations/Stadium Ops department.

I made 1st-team All-State while a member of the AFC Rangers (Christian League Organized Football, 18-up), I played varsity Quarterback my sophomore to senior seasons in High School. After tearing my lateral meniscus in 2011, I was unfornately unable to play for UNCC. I played varsity QB in high school for three years, and started at QB for two of the three years.

I focus on many aspects of quarterback training including footwork, release points, helping determine different velocities of each pass, speed drills, stretching, core strength/shoulder strength, drop backs, roll-outs, under center, shotgun, reading coverages, movement in the pocket, proper release points, handoffs, eluding the pass rush, and I also cater to players who run different offensive systems (spread, run heavy, no huddle, shotgun). Each session will include a stretching session before and after the workout. Quarterbacks are required to bring their own water, cleats, and football.
