A typical session with me depends entirely on the athlete's experience level and goals! No two athletes will react exactly the same to the same type of training, so it's important to get a good sense of what the individual needs before we begin.

That being said, there are certain things that we need to address in our daily sessions. One of which is building a solid foundation of sound running mechanics and form. This will reduce the risk of injury when the workload increases later on in the training plan. Special considerations also must be made for youth athletes. Emphasis should be placed on developing their general strength, because they lack overall physical development.
