More About Coach Daniel

I began coaching HS athletes 12 years ago while back from college on summer vacation. My desire to mold young minds grew into any individual who was coachable and willing to listen. I’ve coached an 8yr athlete in javelin, all the way to an 85yr old masters athlete in shotput. I have the knowledge and understanding to coach young kids to competitive college and post collegiate athletes, to masters athletes looking to compete or pick up a new sport.

I have worked in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Louisiana, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

I currently have a USAW certification, a masters in exercise science, and a doctorate in global sport leadership.

I like to listen. Sessions will gradually build up to the point where I will instruct what practices look like. To begin, I like to learn and feel out the athlete. I can’t begin to assess them until I can view their movement patterns and understanding of the event.

I normally begin with stretching, PP, and breakdowns of the specific event. I normally work in drills and different implements.
